Elementary
Descriptions of our core elementary classes:
- Mathematics - Traditional, understandable approach that builds new concepts on previous ones to promote mastery
- Social Studies - Students see God’s hand throughout man’s history, learn a love for our country, and view God’s hand through the founding of the U.S.
- Language Arts - Students develop writing skills that enable them to articulately express their thoughts.
- Science - Students discover the beauty and mathematical order of God’s creation while developing an appreciation for the intricate design in creation from cells to galaxies.
- Art - As a supplement to their core academics, students are exposed to the basics of art as they discover their God-given artistic abilities.
- Music Theory - As a supplement to their core academics, 3rd-6th grades will learn the basics of reading and playing music, providing an eventaul possibility of keyboard, instrumental, and vocal performance. In school, students will learn to play the flutophone and will be exposed to a variety of musical instruments.
